GIVE THANKS
Stop by the office door, grab a sticky note, and write down something you are thankful for. It can be anything! Maybe you are thankful for certain people, places, things, or activities. You can share your gratitude for our church, certain ministries, or places where you volunteer. Then, post it on the glass wall as a way to share gratitude and give thanks to God. It is also a way for us to see what different people are thankful for in our faith community. Fill out as many as you want to!

LIFELONG LEARNING MISSION NEWS
Sunday School
Join us for Sunday School each week from 9:00-9:45am! Kids ages 3 years old through 5th grade are invited to join us for a time of bible stories, music, and activities. To register for Sunday School, please visit the website below:

The Annual Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, February 4th at 10:00am in the Fellowship Hall. We will have one 9:00am service that day.
Budget Listening Sessions will be held on Sunday, January 14th at 9am, and Sunday, January 21st at 11am.
SOCIAL OUTREACH MISSION NEWS
P-Y-P Day (Pick your Project)
All are welcome! What is it, you ask? Come to the Quadrooms or Fellowship Hall for conversation, camaraderie, and a place to work on your project of choice.
You can use table space for laying projects out, sewing machines or the industrial sewing machine, putting LWR kits together, writing out birthday cards for WELCA, cutting quilt squares, bringing your own knitting, crocheting or embroidery projects. Whatever you would like to work on. We will meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. No Pick your Project on Tuesday, November 21st.

Fidget Mats Plus
Our fidgeters have been very busy and very productive! There are several mats ready for delivery, hopefully before any more snow flies! We call ahead to see if there is a need for our mats and that will take place the first full week in November.
Before we deliver to the community, please let us know if there is a need from our own congregation for these mats, for any reason, and please remember because of your generosity in giving fabric, doodads and gizmsos we are able to gift all mats, cuffs, kids’ books, aprons and Foley bag covers wherever there is a need.
Please join our group every Thursday @ 10am, we’d love to have you with us. Come out of curiosity to see what we do! No Fidgeting on Thursday, November 23rd.
Fellowship Hour
Join us for fellowship hour in the Fireside Room between services. Please come to chat and have a cup of coffee or hot tea.
We need VOLUNTEERS to make, set up and clean up coffee. A sign-up sheet is on the table in the Fireside Room. If no one signs up, there will be no coffee made. If you are interested in helping, but would like a quick tutorial, please see Kelly J.
Lutheran World Relief Layettes and Health Kits
LWR layettes making needs: Toddler size socks and T-shirts. Shirt sizes 6-24 mos. (boys and girls, white, solids and prints). Items can be placed in baskets in the hallway to Fellowship Hall.
Quilting
Our mission for quilts for Lutheran World Relief requires: Gently used sheets for quilt backs. (Not silky type fabrics). Flat sheets are preferred, but fitted sheets can be used as well. Twin, Full, Queen, King, and any colors or prints. Then join us for quilting on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, in the Quadrooms.
We welcome anyone willing to cut quilt squares, layout squares to make tops, sewers to put tops together, or to tie quilts once sewn. Sew! (So) come join us! We would love to have you.
Northside Christian Food Pantry
Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, the North Side Christian Food Pantry will be open on Wednesday, November 22 from 12:30-2:00. We are located at 2133 N.22nd St.
Thanksgiving is a special time to extend our thanks for all our blessings. The North Side Christian Food Pantry would like to thank everyone for their contributions throughout the year. We are very grateful for all the nonperishable items, garden produce, monetary contributions, and financial contributions that we receive. We also want to express our thanks to all the volunteers who help the pantry run smoothly each week as well as for the Food Pantry Board members who help guide the workings of the pantry. Also, thank you to those who keep the pantry and its guests in their prayers. We hope everyone has a very blessed Thanksgiving! Pat L.

This lifeline provides care and support to people experiencing stressful situations. It is free, confidential, and is available 24/7. People of all ages who need help for themselves or a loved one can access the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by: calling 988, sending a text message to 988, or using the chat feature at 988lifeline.org. People who contact 988 will be connected with a trained counselor who takes note of the person’s needs, understands how the person’s problem is affecting them, provides support, and, if needed, gets the person additional help.
