God’s Work Our Hands: A Family Bike Ride that helps Thousands

This is a new project this year! The Ozaukee Family Bike Ride to Benefit Outreach for Hope supports a number of life-giving and life-changing ministries of our Greater Milwaukee Synod, primarily in lower income areas of our Synod.

These ministries include Community Meals (like St. Pete’s Café), health clinics, Community Gardens, wellness education and a number of congregations who play a powerful role in providing hope and showing God’s love in their neighborhoods.

Outreach for Hope is well named!   ofh riders 2

The Bike Ride will begin and end at Christ the King LC in Port Washington- close to the Interurban Trail.

You can choose how far to ride “out and back’.

The ride ends at 5:30 with a Fish Boil dinner at the church.

Registration is online at the Facebook page Ozaukee Family Bike Ride to Benefit Outreach for Hope, or in printed form at St. Peter. Jim Struve is the Team Captain for this event.

Riding your bikes with family and friends on a sunny day- what a great way to help make a difference in the lives of thousands of people!
