A PRAYER TO SHARE WITH YOU
Bedtime prayers can be a good way to end your day. This is a video of a bedtime prayer that was sung for the St. Peter youth on their service trip to Outlaw Ranch Lutheran Camp in South Dakota last summer. The video quality is very camp-y! We were in a chapel, it was raining, and there are a bunch of kids singing! The prayer dismisses the different groups to go to their cabins for the night. You will see one group get dismissed in prayer, then you will hear the St. Peter “Servent Camp” group get prayerfully dismissed for bedtime.
The words to the prayer are: Goodnight Servant Camp, it’s time to take your rest. Lay your sweet head upon the Savior’s chest. We all love you, but Jesus loves you best. So, we bid you good night, good night, good night.
