The Worship Team works with the Pastor in planning worship
opportunities throughout the church year, and recruits and trains
worship assistants in a variety of public and behind the scenes
ministries.
You could get involved with the Worship Team by volunteering as:
• Assisting Minister – leading prayers, readings, serving communion
• Acolyte – carrying cross, receiving offering, helping serve communion
• Reader – reading the second lesson of the day
• Usher – assisting with bulletins, hospitality, offering and communion
• Communion Distributor – serving bread and wine
• Altar Guild – setting up and/or cleaning up communion
• Children’s Moment – offering a short message to the kids
• Bread Baker – baking communion bread for worship
• Music – singing or playing an instrument in the band or choir
• Decorating Team – decorating the church to fit the current season
